Description

The hybrid machining center not only allows for making blanks using additive technology, but also covers the full range of machining procedures, providing a finished product without long preproduction cycles.

Product features

  • flexibility achieved by combining additive technology with machining;
  • producing complex-shaped parts without the use of costly blank-making methods;
  • 5-axis build-up with the possibility of using different materials in layers;
  • process monitoring to ensure maximum reliability and high quality of the resulting complex-shaped parts;
  • continuous analysis of the melt pool allows for real-time monitoring in order to ensure the homogenity of material in the machined parts;
  • single software package for the entire process chain, including product development, design and production (additive build-up and machining), reduces the number of specialists involved in the process;
  • reduced lead time (small to medium batches);
  • producing materials with new properties or improving existing parts by applying materials with high wear resistance, strength, low friction coefficient, etc.;
  • quick manufacturing of parts with updated geometry through alternating additive build-up and machining modes.

Areas of use

  • Tooling industry - stamps, dies, cutting tools, wear parts
  • Energy and nuclear industry - fuel injector swirlers, heat exchangers and heat sinks, high pressure reactor parts, turbine blades
  • Aerospace industry - mounts, aircraft high-lift actuator components, exhaust system nozzles, blowpipes, engine expanding nozzles, combustion chambers, fuel pumps, hydraulic valve blocks, parts and assemblies for space probes and planetary vehicles, engine blades, transverse arm suspension
  • Automotive industry - engine cooling system connectors, engine hood hinges, combustion chambers, compressor blades, reduction gear with pulleys, suspension parts, pump impellers
  • Weapons industry - small arms parts using SMART materials
  • Shipbuilding industry - pipes, adapters, T-pieces, flow distributors, air and fuel lines, air inlets and outlets, deflectors, inter-unit piping, mixing manifolds and receivers, ship propellers
  • Oil and gas - parts of electric submersible pumps for oil extraction
