The SKKSh is a new experimental offering by the Mytishchi Machine-Building Plant JSC, a subsidiary of the Kalashnikov Group. The design solutions used in its development are unique for the company and promising for potential customers.
The vehicle's aluminum body provides bullet and explosion protection without any additional attachments and also allows for more efficient use of the inner volume and reduces the overall weight. With its high cross-country capability, the SKKSh-586 is capable of crossing water obstacles using dual waterjets.
The vehicle is equipped with a hydromechanical automatic transmission, on-board information and control system, main and backup power supply, as well as heating, ventilation, air conditioning and video surveillance systems.
The vehicle can be used for mounting the instruments and armament of the Tor-M2K ADMS. The SKKSh is also being considered as a wheeled carrier for the Buk and Pantsir ADMS, as well as multiple rocket launchers.
