54 workers at the Mytishchi Machine-Building Plant have received certificates and personal stamps, special trust marks attesting to their authority to conduct product quality control without having to present their work to the technical control department. This choice was based on the employees' certification for self-inspection rights. The enterprise's Standard specifies the procedure for granting MMZ employees the right to self-inspect. It can be given to highly qualified employees who have mastered the production technology and procedures for operational and technical control of products at their workstations. Metalworkers, turners, milling operators, borers, gear cutters, grinders, CNC operators, electric and gas welders, painters, and testers are all eligible to receive the stamp. Operations within the performer's area of expertise for the manufacture of parts and units, assembly, and testing of assemblies performed at a certain division are transferred to self-inspection. Products with an employee's personal stamp are considered equal to those accepted by the TCD at the initial presentation. However, only BTC (Bureau of Technical Control) employees can do final technical acceptance of finished products, complex assemblies, and units. Heads of shop-specific BTCs carry out unscheduled quality checks on products manufactured by employees who have personal stamps. Employees who pass the certification receive a raise and are granted the right to self-inspect for a year.

First Deputy Chairman of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation and Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitriy Medvedev paid a working visit to Kalashnikov Concern. He examined the production of serial military products under the state defense order. The newest models of automatic rifles, sniper rifles, anti-aircraft guided missiles, and advanced military innovations from the Kalashnikov Group were displayed to the deputy chairman. Dmitriy Medvedev was shown around the automated barrel forging facility. Additionally, the LIS Oculus Decision Support System was displayed during the demonstration, along with multilayer combat clothing sets and modular vest systems. A separate presentation of UAVs produced by the Kalashnikov Group was also made. "We came together today at the storied Kalashnikov Concern, where we saw the equipment created with an emphasis on unmanned aerial vehicles," Dmitriy Medvedev noted when speaking at a meeting of the Military-Industrial Commission's working group. "At the moment, the special military operation zone is receiving all the required military hardware and enemy engagement tools. We are talking thousands of units here, and the output rate set at the end of the previous year must obviously continue." "We are very appreciative of the Security Council's and the Military-Industrial Commission's attention to the Concern and its products, which urges us to exert double the effort necessary to guarantee the state defense order's fulfillment amid the challenging current circumstances," Alan Lushnikov, President of Kalashnikov Concern JSC, stated when commenting on the visit's results. "You can always count on Kalashnikov, as Mikhail Timofeyevich himself had proven many times."

The rights to use their names in Kalashnikov Concern's products have been transferred to the company by designers Dmitriy Lebedev and Andrey Chukavin, who have signed an agreement to that effect. From this point forward, Kalashnikov is legally permitted to use the names of the designers not only when marking weapons like the Lebedev compact pistol (PLK), Lebedev modular pistol (MPL), Chukavin sniper rifle (SVCh), etc., but also when manufacturing related goods, especially promotional and memorabilia items. The Concern had previously concluded similar agreements with the legendary designer Mikhail Kalashnikov (in 2013), while Vladimir Yarygin did the same for the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant, in 2017. The Lebedev pistols (PLK, MPL, and MPL1) were approved for military use in Russia in 2022 and were subsequently added to the state defense order for the ensuing years. On November 25, 2022, Dmitriy Lebedev received the Order "For Military Merit" from Russian President Vladimir Putin. Last year, the Chukavin sniper rifle (SVCh) also underwent successful trials before going into service. As previously reported, the Dragunov SVD, the Russian army's primary sniper rifle, will be replaced by the SVCh. Almost 60 years after being put into service, the Dragunov rifle is now to be succeeded by the cutting-edge Chukavin rifle.
