Press the magazine release and detach the magazine

Set the fire selector switch to any one of the three positions

Pull the bolt carrier and hold back

Make sure there is no round in the chamber

Release the bolt carrier

Press the maintenance compartment release buttons on the pistol grip

Take the compartment out of the grip

Press the butt plate detent

Push the butt plate down

Take the cleaning rod out of the buttstock

Use the pin punch to press the muzzle brake detent pin

Rotate the muzzle brake 180° and detach it
-
Lift up the dust cover detent lever
-
Pull the pin all the way right
-
Remove the dust cover

Take out the recoil spring assembly

Take out the bolt carrier
-
Remove the bolt from the bolt carrier

Use the pin punch to press the gas block cap pin

Rotate the cap clockwise and detach it
