Struna, a Hero of the Russian Federation, and Rokot, a fellow marine officer, shared their combat experience with AKs.
This episode's heroes described what weapons they used during the liberation of Mariupol, in urban assault conditions when a direct shot could not travel more than 300-400 meters. They used AK-74M and AK-12 rifles, sometimes with RPK mags, and occasionally they even had to use machine gun ammo in their SVDs. Kalashnikov products performed consistently.
Watch the third episode to hear the Black Berets discuss the Kalashnikov rifle's durability despite significant damage and very little maintenance.
