Three-time biathlon world champion and two-times runner-up of Winter Olympics Ivan Tcherezov is now director for sporting weapon projects in Kalashnikov group. He brought new biathlon rifle BI-7-7 to members of Russian national team Anton Shipulin and Alexei Volkov, so they could test the weapon and give feedback. After testing, which took place in Dynamo shooting range in Ekaterinburg, Tcherezov interviewed Shipulin – not just about rifles, but also about training for the upcoming season, 2018 Olympics and new team coach Andrei Kruchkov.
