The compact version of the Lebedev pistol has successfully passed government trials. The PLK is to gradually replace the Makarov pistol widely used by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The pistol's 186 mm long. It is equipped with a 14-round magazine.

The PLK:

• Can be equipped with a tactical light.

• Has ambidextrous controls.

• Is quick to draw.

• Is quick to put on safety.
