At the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, held at the Kazan Digital Week international forum, the managing director of Concern Kalashnikov Aleksey Tensin spoke about the results of production modernization through digital transformation, which allowed Concern Kalashnikov to increase the output per employee by 30%.
"Digitalization yielded a tangible economic effect over a fairly short period of time and allowed Kalashnikov Concern to rank with the most up-to-date manufacturing companies in Russia," Tensin noted.
In 2020, enterprises of the Izhevsk cluster received grants from the Russian Information Technology Development Fund to implement projects for further digitalization of production in 2021-2022.
Izhevsk Mechanical Plant presented a project to implement a modular intellectual system for strategic and operational management of spin-off production. Kalashnikov Concern presented software for operational production planning with by-transaction accounting and dispatching systems based on end-to-end digital tech. The
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov praised the Concern's results and emphasized that the speed and results of digital transformation at each organization depend on the management.
