The Tynys plant, one of the largest industrial enterprises of Akmola region (Kazakhstan), will launch the production of AK-12 and AK-15 assault rifles.
The project has been in preparation since 2021 with active participation of technical specialists of the Kalashnikov Group of Companies.
Joint poduction will be launched in 2022 and will meet the needs of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan in modern automatic rifles of the "Ratnik" family.
Earlier in 2021, in New Delhi a contract was signed to supply the Ministry of Defense of India with more than 600,000 AK-203 assault rifles produced at a joint Russian-Indian production facility in the city of Korwa (Uttar Pradesh, India) as part of the meeting of the Ministers of Defense of Russia and India.
